This customer has roots that run very deep in the van space! If you have ever seen a fiberglass shell on top of a Ford Econoline Van; you can thank them. Staying true to their roots this customer wanted their Ford Transit to stand out in a crowd and carry on the family tradition. We were honored to build this van for them.
It all started with a bed. Had to be comfortable, big, and feel like home. Something that after a long drive, day of exploring and adventuring you enjoy crawling into for a quick roadside nap, or a solid 8 hours of shut eye. With a 148 extended model, this made it a very easy starting point. In turn, this created a huge garage area underneath and large utility cabinets to house a large lithium power system, a hydronic heating system, and 40 gallons of fresh water.
