A Chance Meeting That Turned Into Something More
In October 2020, TOURIG owner Eric Miller met Ty Pierce—formerly of Backwoods Adventure Mods—during a weekend in Arkansas at the Rendezvous of the Ozarks Overland Rally. What started as a chance meeting quickly turned into something much more lasting.
At the time, TOURIG was sourcing roof racks and bumpers from Backwoods. But it didn’t take long for both sides to realize they shared more than just a business alignment. There was a mutual respect for craftsmanship, a passion for the van and overland community, and an energy that made collaboration feel effortless.
That connection never faded.
